The Bhaktapur-based Human Organ Transplant Centre has performed a successful

The Bhaktapur-based Human Organ Transplant Centre has performed a successful heart surgery for the first time in the history of its establishment. A team comprising senior heart surgeons Dr Mohandev Bhandari, Dr Sampurnaman Tuladhar, Dr Prem Raj Baidhya, cardiologist Dr Kartikesh Kumar Thakur, anaesthesiologist Dr Sandeep Bhandari and some other foreign doctors was involved in the successful heart operation on a patient from the eastern Sankhuwasabha district last Thursday. At a press meet organised by the centre here today, centre Chief Dr Pukarchandra Shrestha said the centre achieved a noticeable progress in the heart treatment in less than a month of the starting of the service. The centre is the sole health facility in Bhaktapur providing the heart treatment services and has started the heart surgery as the fourth government facility in the country. We plan to start the transplant of the cardiac valve and liver in near future, he said on the occasion.

सवारी चालक अनुमतिपत्रको फाराम भर्न नसकेर बुधबार फर्किनुभएका सिन्धुपाल्चोकका रमेश तामाङ बिहीबार पनि फर्कन बाध्य भए  ।<br /> <br /> बुधबार बिहान ७ बजे नै एकान्तकुना पुग्नुभएका उनी भीड देखेर फर्किएका थियो तर बिहीबार पुनः कार्यालय पुग्दा त्यहाँका कर्मचारीले हलुका सवारी साधनको शुक्रबारसम्मको टोकन सकियो भनेपछि उनी फर्कन बाध्य भएका हुन्  ।<br /> <br /> बुधबार बाग्मती यातायात व्यवस्था कार्यालयमा नै भेटिएका मकवानपुरका विकास चम्रेल भने फाराम भर्न पाएकामा दङ्ग देखिए । उनि राति ३ बजे नै एकान्तकुना पुगेका  थियो । आफू पुग्दा राति ९÷१० बजेदेखि बसेकाहरु भेटिएको चम्रेलले बताए ।<br /> <br /> कार्यालयले दुई महिनापछि बुधबारबाट चालक अनुमतिपत्रका लागि आवेदन फाराम लिन थालेको हो । लामो समयदेखि बन्द रहेको र अन्य अञ्चल कार्यालयले सेवा नदिएका कारण कार्यालयमा फाराम भर्नेको भीड लागेको छ । बुधबार मात्रै झन्डै चार हजार सेवाग्राही आइपुगेको कार्यालयमा कार्यरत कर्मचारीले बताएका छन् । एक दिनमा चारपाङ्ग्रे हलुका सवारी साधनको २०० र मोटरसाइकल ५०० गरेर कार्यालयले जम्मा ७००को फारम लिने गरेको छ ।<br /> <br /> रामशाहपथस्थित नेसनल ट्रेडिङ सेन्टरमा सवारी जाँच हुने गरेकामा चाडपर्वका समय नेसनल ट्रेडिङले स्थान उपलब्ध नगराएका कारण दुई महिनासम्म सेवा दिन नसकिएको कार्यालयका प्रमुख तेजनारायण यादवले बताए । फाराम भर्ने समयमा सधैँ भीड हुने भए पनि दुई महिनासम्म सेवा ठप्प हुँदा भीड धेरै गुणा बढेको छ । उनले भने – “सामान्य हुन अझै केही समय लाग्न सक्छ ।”<br /> <br /> लामो समयपछि चालक अनुमतिपत्र खुलेकाले प्रमुख यादव मङ्गलबार राति झन्डै ८ः३० बजेसम्म कार्यालयमा भोलिपल्टको तयारीका लागि बसेका थिए  । बिहान आफू ६ः३० बजे पुग्दा नै धेरै सेवाग्राही आइसकेका थिए भन्दै उनले सेवाग्राही धेरै भए पनि कार्यालयले क्षमताअनुसार मात्रै सेवा दिन सक्छ भने ।<br /> <br /> रातिबाट नै लाम लाग्न आएकालाई प्रहरीले हटाएको थियो । फाराम भर्न नपाएकाहरुले प्रवेशद्वार, पर्खाललगायतका स्थान तोडफोडसमेत गरेका छन् ।<br /> <br /> कार्यालयले मोटरसाइकलको फाराम सङ्कलन सोमबारदेखि शुक्रबारसम्म गर्दै आएको छ । प्रत्येक दिन ५०० सेवाग्राहीले फाराम भर्न सक्छन् । हलुका सवारी साधनका लागि भने २०० जनाले फाराम भर्न पाउने व्यवस्था छ । आइतबार भारी सवारी साधन र स्कुटरका लागि चालक अनुमति पत्रको फाराम लिने गरिएको छ ।<br /> <br /> भारी सवारी साधनका दलागि भने एक सयजनाले मात्र फाराम भर्न सक्ने व्यवस्था छ । जुनसुकै सवारी साधनको चालकले फाराम भरेको एक दिनपछि लिखित र दुई दिनपछि ट्रायल दिन सक्छन् । यातायात व्यवस्था कार्यालय, ललितपुरमा अहिले नमुनाका रुपमा स्मार्ट चालक अनुमतिपत्र वितरण भइरहेको छ ।
