A ‘special polio immunisation programme’ announced by the government for 15 districts is likely to be postponed due to protests of health professionals. Earlier, the programme was scheduled for coming February 18-19.Health professionals across the country are on a warpath, demanding the enforcement of the Health Act and it is almost sure that the immunisation drive would be postponed, according to Child Health Division’s immunisation section programme officer Basanta Shrestha.We see no possibility of launching the programme on the scheduled date even if agitating health professional returned to work by a couple of days. The new schedule for the programme would be announced later.The government has a target of administering polio drops to some 1.69 million under five during a special campaign. Though Nepal had got the certificate of polio eradication in 2010, the decision to organise a special drive was taken bearing in mind its high risk of its reoccurrence in the country as the cases of this acute viral disease are still in existence in Pakistan and Afghanistan.The UNICEF is to support the programme as it is providing vaccines. Likewise, the World Health Organisation (WHO) is financing Rs 15 million to the programme. The WHO has set a target of eradicating this disease from the world in 2018, the Division said.

हामीमध्ये धेरैजनाले खाना खाने बेलामा पिरो खानेकुरालाई पाखा लगाउने गर्दछौँ । तर के तपाईंलाई थाहा छ ? खानामा कम्तीमा दुइवटा हरियो खुसार्नी खाने गर्नाले क्यन्सर जस्तो भयानक रोगबाट बच्न सकिन्छ । हरियो खुर्सानीले प्रकृतिक रुपमानै रोग प्रतिरोधात्मक क्षमतालाई बढाउने गर्दछ । 
१.मोटोपन कम गर्छः 
यदि तपाईं खानेकुरामा निकै सोच्ने गर्नुहुन्छ र सधैँ कम क्यालरीको खाना खानुहुन्छ भने तपाईंको लागि हरियो खुर्सानी राम्रो विकल्प हुनसक्छ । हरियो खुर्सानीमा क्यालरी हुँदैन त्यसकारण यदि तपाईं डाइटिङ गरिरहनुभएको छ भने हरियो खुर्सानी तपाईंको लागि निकै लाभदायक हुन्छ । 
 
२.क्यान्सरबाट बचाउँछ : 
पुरुषहरुमा प्रोस्टेट क्यान्सरको सम्भावना धेरै हुने गर्दछ । एक शोधका अनुसार खानामा हरियो 
खुर्सानी खाँदा प्रोस्टेट क्यान्सरबाट बचाउने गर्दछ । हरियो खुर्सानीमा यस्तो तत्व पाइन्छ जसले क्यान्सरको जोखिमलाई कम गर्ने गर्दछ । 
 
३.सँधै जवान राख्न मद्धत गर्छ : 
हरियो खुर्सानीमा भिटामिन इ को मात्रा निकै धेरै हुने भएका कारण यसमा प्राकृतिक तेल हुने गर्दछ जसले छालालाई नरम बनाइराख्न मद्दत गर्दछ । यसले तपाईंको छालालाई सधैँ जवान र चम्किलो बनाइराख्न मद्दत गर्दछ । 
 
४ं.छालाको संक्रमणबाट बचाउँछ : 
यदि तपाईंको छाला निकै नै संवेदनशील छ र तपाईंलाई संक्रमणको समस्या भइरहन्छ भने हरियो खुर्सानीले तपाईंलाई राहत प्रदान गर्नेछ । हरियो खुर्सानीको एन्टिब्याटरियल तत्वले तपाईंको छालालाई संक्रमणबाट बचाउँछ । 
 
५.मधुमेहबाट बचाउँछ : 
हरियो खुर्सानीले रगतमा सुगरको लेभललाई कन्ट्रोल गर्दछ । जसले मधुमेहको समस्याबाट छुटकारा दिलाउँदछ । हरियो खुर्सानीमा पाइने फाइबरले खानालाई छिट्टै पचाउन पनि पद्धत गर्दछ । 
 
६.हड्डिलाई बलियो बनाउँदछ : 
हरियो खुर्सानीमा प्रसस्त मात्रमा आइरन पाइन्छ जसले हड्डिलाइ बलियो बनाउँदछ र रगतलाई पनि बढाउने गर्दछ । महिलाहरुको लागि हरियो खुर्सानी निकै लाभदायक हुन्छ । 
 
७ रोग प्रतिरोधात्मक क्षमता बढाउँदछ : 
हरियो खुर्सानीमा भिटामिन सिको मात्रा प्रशस्त मात्रमा हुने गर्दछ जसले शरिरमा भिटामिन ‘सि’ को पुर्तिका साथै शरिरमा रोग प्रतिरोधात्मक क्षमता बढाउने गर्दछ ।

Intelligent hospital logistics concept (in short IHL) is now recommended by the Danish Regions in “Report on transport technologies”, which is one of 10 indicators set out for the next hospital constructions. 
 
The new concept is recommended in the report from the Danish Regions with the following words: “The project group continues to support the project and see it as one of the most promising developments within area hospital logistics for many years.” 
 
“I am very pleased that our concept is recommended,” says CEO of Intelligent Systems Niki Nicolas Grigoriou. “It’s a concept we’ve been working on for about one and a half years. The indicator on transport technologies concludes that Intelligent hospital logistics (IHL) is a very promising example of new thinking and innovation in hospital logistics. It is the combination of transport technologies in the concept and targeting it to hospitals that makes it unique.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जगतमा युवा पुस्तामा निकै लोकप्रिय भ्यालेन्टाइन डे अर्थात प्रणय दिवस केही वर्षयता नेपाली युवापुस्तामा पनि लोकप्रिय बन्दै गएको छ । हरेक वर्षको फेब्रअरी १४ तारिखका दिन भ्यालेन्टाइन डे मनाइने भए पनि त्यसको एक साताअघिदेखि नै उत्सव मनाउने गरिएको छ इशापूर्व २६९ तिर रोमका पूजारी सन्त भ्यालेन्टाइनको प्रेम प्रसंगलाई लिएर नै विश्वका विभिन्न मुलुकमा भ्यालेन्टाइन डे मनाउने गरिएको छ । विभिन्न ठाउँमा विभिन्न किसिमले प्रणय दिवस मनाउनको चलनकाबीच भारतको एक कलेज अनौठो किमिसले भ्यालेन्टाइन डेको अवसरमा ‘गर्लफ्रेन्ड’ ‘ब्वायफ्रेण्ड’ एउटा रुखको पूजा गर्ने गरिन्छ । 
 
भारतको नयाँ दिल्लीस्थित दिल्ली युनिभर्सिटीको हिन्दु कलेजमा एउटा किकरको रुख छ । त्यस रुखलाई विद्यार्थीहरु ‘भर्जिन ट्री’ भन्ने गर्छन् । युवा युवतिहरुका लागि प्रेमको केन्द्र मानिने यो रुखको ‘भ्यालेन्टाइन डे’ (प्रणय दिवस)का दिन विशेष पूजा गर्ने गर्दछन् । 
 
प्रणय दिवसका दिन अर्थात फेब्रुअरी १४ मा यो रुखको पानीले भरिएको रातो बेलुन तथा कण्डमले सजाउने गरिन्छ । रुखलाई सजाउनुका साथै विद्यार्थीहरुले ‘दमदमी माई’को फोटो पनि सजाउने गर्दछन् । कुनै बलिउड नायिकालाई दमदमी माई बनाउँने गर्दछन् । ती नायिकाको फोटो पनि रुखमा सजाउने गर्दछन् । 
 
पूजा गरेको ६ हप्तामा ‘गर्लफ्रेण्ड’ वा ‘ब्वायफ्रेण्ड’ ! 
 
कलेजका विद्यार्थीहरुकाबीच यो पूजाका अनौठो मान्यता छ । भ्यालेन्टाइन डेमा गरिने उक्त पूजाको जो सहभागी भइ प्रसाद लिन्छन्, उसलाई ६ हप्ताभित्र ‘गर्लफ्रेण्ड’ वा ‘ब्वायफ्रेण्ड’ मिल्ने विश्वास विद्यार्थीहरुले गर्ने गरेका छन् । 
 
यदि कोही भर्जिन छ भने एक वर्षभित्र उसको भर्जिनिटी पनि भंग हुने मन्यता पनि रहेको छ । 
 
सन् २०१५ को प्रणय दिवसमा मोडल तथा बलिउड नायिका लिसा हेडनलाई ‘दमदमी माई’ बनाएको थियो भने सन् २०१४ मा नायिका दीपिका पादुकोणलाई दमदमी माईको संज्ञा दिइएको थियो । 
 
कसरी मनाउन थालियो भ्यालेन्टाइन डे ? 
 
इशापूर्व २६९ तिर रोमका पूजारी सन्त भ्यालेन्टाइन प्रेममा परेका थिए । जेलमै बस्दा जेलरकी छोरीसँग उनको प्रेम बस्यो । प्रेमविरोधी राजाद्वारा स्थापित जेलमै उनले प्रेम साटासाट गरे । 
 
मृत्युदण्डको सजायसँगै फाँसीको अघिल्लो दिन उनले आफ्नी प्रेमिकालाई भावविह्वल प्रेमपत्र लेखे । त्यसपछि भ्यालेन्टाइनलाई मृत्युदण्ड दिइयो । उनलाई फेब्रुअरी १४ का दिन मृत्यु दण्डा दिइएको थियो । खुला प्रेमको चुनौती दिँदै मृत्युवरण गरेका कारण सोही दिन हरेक वर्ष भ्यालेन्टाइन डे मनाउने गरिएको किंवदन्ती छ । 
 
रोममा राजा क्लाउडियस द्वितीयको शासनकालमा रोमन युवालाई प्रेममा पर्न र विवाह गरेर घरजम गर्न निषेध गरिएको थियो । उनी युद्ध गरेर रोमन साम्राज्य विस्तार गर्ने आफ्नो अभीष्ट पूरा गर्न सैनिक र राज्यका युवालाई प्रेम तथा विवाहबाट टाढा राख्न चाहन्थे । आफ्नी श्रीमती, सन्तान र प्रेमीको प्रेमका कारण युद्धमा जाँदैनन् भन्ने सोच राजाको थियो । उनले रोमका चर्चहरूमा विवाह गराउनेलाई सजाय दिने उर्दी नै जारी गरेका थिए । 
 
सैनिक र युवालाई जस्तै चर्चका पूजारी भ्यालेन्टाइनलाई यस निर्णयले विचलित तुल्याएको कारण १४ फेब्रुअरीलाई प्रणय दिवसका रुपमा मनाउने चलन चलेको मानिन्छ ।
