Incumbent govt will hold local poll, Minister Joshi says

Industry Minister Nabindraraj Joshi has said that this government would conduct the local elections. Inaugurating the beginning of a modern machine to process the Allo in Shalija VDC of Parbat district on Sunday, Joshi said that local poll would be conducted by third week of June at any cost. He also added that the Prachanda-led government would be changed after holding the local polls. “This government will conduct election. Environment is becoming favourable,” he argued. Saying that the government has the challenges to conduct all three layers of elections within a year, Joshi added that the government would not move back from its stand. Minister Joshi reiterated that the date of the local election would be declared soon and the government was committed to conducting the poll on the basis of consensus of all political parties. During the programme, State Minister for Industry Kanchan Chandra Bade Shrestha said that the government was working for the development of small and medium-sized industries in the country.

Food is only consumed once and includes Chana Dal (Bengal Gram) and ghee. Basically, yellow colored food is eaten on the day.In some regions, banana or plantain is worshipped and watered.

अभिनेत्री केकी अधिकारी र अभिनेता नाजिर हुसेन समयले भ्याएसम्म एकअर्काको फिल्म हेर्ने गर्छन्। केकीले पछिल्लोपटक नाजिर अभिनीत फिल्म 'वीरविक्रम' हेर्दा नाजिरले 'श्री ५ अम्बरे' र 'फन्को' हेरे। रंगमञ्चबाट फिल्ममा आएका नाजिर र म्युजिक भिडियोबाट फिल्ममा उदाएकी केकीले फिल्ममा सँगै स्त्रि्कन सेयर गरेका छैनन्। उनीहरु चाँडै नै फिल्म 'राज्जा रानी'मार्फत् प्रेमजोडीका रुपमा दर्शकमाझ आउने भएका छन्। 
 
फिल्ममा केकी र नाजिर मधेसी चरित्रमा देखिँदै छन्। केकीले पहिलोपटक मधेसी चरित्रमा अभिनय गर्न पाउँदा खुसी लागेको बताइन्। 'रोमान्टिक जोडीको रुपमा दर्शक माझ आउँदै छौं,' केकीले भनिन्, 'फिल्ममा मेरो भूमिका रानी पात्रको छ। जसमाथि दर्शकले आफूलाई महसुस गर्न सक्छन्।' 
 
'होस्टेल रिटर्नस्', 'जंगे' फिल्ममा मधेसी चरित्रमा देखिएका नाजिरले केकीसँगको आफ्नो जोडी दर्शकका लागि नयाँ स्वाद हुने विश्वास व्यक्त गरे। फिल्मको मुहूर्तमा केकी र नाजिर बेहुलाबेहुलीको लुक्समा देखिए। 
 
यसै फिल्ममार्फत निर्देशनमा डेब्यु गर्न लागेका यम थापाले सानो भेगको जनजाति कथालाई फिल्मले प्रस्तुत गर्ने बताए। 'फिल्मले पश्चिम तराईको प्रेमलाई देखाउनेछ, फिल्मको नामले व्यक्तिलाई इंगित गरेजस्तो देखिए पनि कथा त्यस्तो छैन। यो पश्चिम तराईको प्रेमको भाषा हो, यसलाई प्रेमको प्रतीकको रुपमा बुझिदिनुहोला,' फिल्मका लेखकसमेत रहेका यमले भने। यम 'कोहिनुर', 'वीर विक्रम', 'शब्द', 'के म तिम्रो होइन र' र 'रानी'का लेखक हुन्। 
 
यसै फिल्मबाट निर्माताका रुपमा आउन लागेका रमेश एमके पौडेलले चलचित्र विकास बोर्डले ल्याउन लागेको बक्स अफिस स्थापनामा सहकार्य गर्न आफ्नो कम्पनी डिस होम तथा सिम टिभी तयार रहेको बताए। कार्यक्रममा अभिनेता भुवन केसी र अभिनेत्री रेखा थापाले फिल्मलाई सफलताको शुभकामना दिए।

दमकमा यस्तो बन्दैछ विश्वकै अग्लो बुद्धको मूर्ति

झापाको दमकमा विश्वकै सबैभन्दा अग्लो दाबी गरिएको मूर्ति निर्माण प्रक्रिया सुरु भएको छ । 
 
मूर्तिमात्रै १६४ मिटर अग्लो हुनेछ । ‘मूर्तिको बेसमा ३ तल्ला हुन्छ,’ दमक नगरपालिकाका कार्यकारी अधिकृत युवराज दाहालले भने, ‘तलसमेत जोड्दा १९४ मिटर अग्लो हुन्छ ।’ 
 
‘विराट बुद्ध प्रतिमा आयोजना’ को विस्तृत आयोजना प्रतिवेदन (डीपीआर) तयार भएको छ । राजधानीमा भएको कार्यक्रममा पूर्वप्रधानमन्त्री एवं एमाले अध्यक्ष केपी शर्मा ओलीसमक्ष डीपीआर सार्वजनिक गरियो । पूर्वपश्चिम राजमार्गको दमक चौकबाट १५ किलोमिटर उत्तरमा मूर्ति रहनेछ । 
 
आयोजनाका लागि अहिले ३६ बिगाहा जमिन छुट्याइएको छ । तर सरोकारवालाहरुले भने उक्त जमिन थोरै भएको भन्दै थप जमिन अधिग्रहण गर्न माग गरेका छन् । पूर्ववर्ति ओली सरकारले आफ्नो नीति तथा कार्यक्रम र बजेटमा विश्वकै अग्लो बुद्धमूर्ति निर्माण गर्ने योजना अघि सारेको थियो । 
 
एमाले अध्यक्ष ओलीले पनि बेलडाँगी भुटानी शरणार्थी शिविर करिव खाली हुने अवस्थामा पुगेको भन्दै उक्त जमिन प्रयोग गर्न सकिने बताए । ‘यो वृहत्त् आयोजना हो,’ उनले भने, ‘कम्तिमा १ हजार जग्गा चाहिन्छ, त्यसको प्रबन्ध गर्नुपर्छ ।’ 
 
आयोजनामा प्रस्ताव गरिए अनुसारका संरचना निर्माणका लागि कम्तीमा १ हजार बिगाहा जग्गा आवश्यक पर्ने सरोकारवालाले पनि सुनाए । 
 
परियोजनामा बौद्ध विश्वविद्यालय, चैत्य, ध्यान केन्द्रहरु, पुस्तकालय, अष्टबुद्ध चक्रपथ, संग्राहलय, खुला ध्यान केन्द्र, अखण्ड दीप आदि सामेल गराइने दमक नगरपालिकाका कार्यकारी अधिकृत युवराज दाहालले जानकारी दिए । परियोजना निर्माणपछि बौद्ध पर्यटनको विकास, बौद्ध चक्रपथमा थप आकर्षण र स्थानीय अर्थतन्त्रमा सकारात्मक प्रभाव पार्ने उनको भनाइ छ । 
 
हंसेदुम्से सामुदायिक बनउपभोक्ता समितीको अधिनमा रहेको उक्त जंगल क्षेत्र मासेर बुद्ध पार्कका लागि उपयोग गर्न नखोजिएको पनि ओलीले स्पष्ट पारे । ‘त्यस जंगलमा जतिवटा रुख छन् त्यति नै, अथवा अझै बढी रुख खोप्न सकिन्छ,’ उनले भने । 
 
ओलीले बुद्धपार्कमा मौरी र चराचुरुंगीले पनि बास र खानेकुरा पाउनुपर्ने बताउँदै फल्ने र फुल्ने जातका विरुवा रोप्न सुझाए । 
 
नेपाल बुद्धको जन्मभूमि मात्र नभएर बुद्धिज्मको आधारभूमि पनि भएको बताउँदै ओलीले भने, ‘नेपाल बुद्धको बर्थ प्लेस मात्र नभएर बुद्धिज्मको फाउन्टेन पनि हो ।’ उनले कि हाइट भएको कि लाइट भएको चिज टाढाबाट देख्न सकिने उल्लेख गरे । ‘सगरमाथाको हाइटले संसारले देख्छ बुद्धको बुद्धत्वको प्रकाश (लाइट) ले नेपाललाई संसारले देखेको छ । दमकमा निर्माण हुने यो प्रतिमाले नेपाललाई संसारमा चिनाउनका लागि र पर्यटक भित्र्याउनका लागि थप मद्धत गर्दछ,’ उनले भने । 
 
कार्यक्रममा इलाम क्षेत्र न. २ मा का सांसदसमेत रहेका पूर्वसभामुख सुवासचन्द्र  नेम्वाङले यो आयोजना समग्र नेपालको गौरवको आयोजना हुने बताए । आयोजनाले स्थानीय बासिन्दाको जीवनस्तर उकास्नका लागि समेत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निर्वाह गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको नेम्वाङले बताए । उनले ओली सरकारले देखाएका धेरै सपनामध्ये यो पनि एक भएको बताउँदै समयमै पूरा गर्न सबैले साथ दिनुपर्ने बताए । 
 
राष्ट्रिय योजना आयोगका पूर्वउपाध्यक्ष डा. युवराज खतिवडाले सरकार, निजी क्षेत्र र समूदायको पहल भए निर्माण छोटो समयमै पूरा हुने उल्लेख गरे । 
 
परियोजना प्रतिवेदन मल्टीडिसिप्लिनरी कन्सल्नेन्ट, डिजाइन कन्सल्टेन्ट र ए–नट इन्जिनियरिङ कुपण्डोलले तयार गरेको हो । नगरपालिका कार्यलयले जनाए अनुसार एक महिना भित्र सरकरालाई यो प्रतिवेदन बुझाएपछि यसको निर्माण कार्य सुरु हुनेछ । 
 
आयोजना निर्माणका लागि बिभिन्न दातृ संस्थाहरुले चासो देखाएका नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासंघका पूर्वउपाध्यक्ष भाष्करराज राजकर्णिकारले जानकारी दिए । उनले पनि ओली सरकारले अघि बढाएको आयोजना पूरा गर्न पनि स्वयं ओलीकै सक्रियता हुनुपर्नेमा जोड दिए । 
 
आयोजनाको कुल लागत करिब १५ अर्ब ५० करोड रुपैयाँ अनुमान गरिएको छ । ‘तर लागत अझै बढ्न सक्छ,’ कार्यकारी अधिकृत दाहालले भने, ‘पैसाको अभाव हुनेछैन ।’
