ट्वीटर र इन्स्टाग्राममा काठमाडौंबाट देखिने हिमालका फोटाहरू हाँसिरहेका छन् । यसरी हाँसेका हिमाल देख्दा फुपूलाई भने सधैं खुसी लाग्दैन । ‘मेरो बाबा यही हिमालमा पुरिएको,’ उनी भन्छिन् । फुपूका पिता दोर्जे खत्री थिए, हिमाल आरोही । आठ पटक सगरमाथा आरोहण गरिसकेका । नवौं पटकमा हिमालले उनलाई आफ्नै छातीमा टाँसेर राखिदियो, जुडोको कोर्टमा छोरीलाई एक्लै लड्नका लागि छाडेर ।<br /> पछिल्लो पटक सिनेमाघरको अँध्यारोमा आमिर खानको फिल्म ‘दंगल’ हेर्दा र ब्राजिलको रियो दी जेनेरियोमा भएको ओलम्पिकमा नेपालका तर्फबाट जुडो खेल्न जाँदा उनलाई पिताको निकै सम्झना आएको थियो । बालुवामाथिको चिसो डोब रहेजसरी रियोको स्टेडियममा उनको आँसु त्यसरी नै छुटेको थियो ।<br /> यो कथा फुपू र उनले सम्झिने तिनै मानिस दोर्जेको हो ।<br /> ०००<br /> इन्द्रबहादुर खत्री नेपाल प्रहरीका जागिरे थिए । सरकारी सिन्दूर लगाएपछि कहिले कता कहिले कता सरुवा भइरहन्थ्यो । नेपालको मध्यभागतिरका कुनै पहाडी गाउँका खत्रीको एकफेर सरुवा भयो ताप्लेजुङको हिमाल नजिकैको गाउँ घुन्सामा । ताप्लेजुङ बजारबाट तीन दिन जंगलैजंगलको बाटो हिँडेपछि पुगिने यो ठाउँ इन्द्रबहादुरले देखे–भोगेका गाउँभन्दा फरक थियो । तिब्बतको सीमानजिकको यो चिसो गाउँमा उनले भेटे एक तिब्बती युवती । तिब्बतबाट घुन्सा झरेकी यी युवतीसँग उनको माया बस्यो । उनीहरूले विवाह गरे । उनीहरूका छोरा जन्मिए । नाम राखियो— दोर्जे । शेर्पा र हिमाली जीवन जनाउने नाम थियो यो । यसमा थर गाँसियो बाबुको— खत्री । यसरी दोर्जे खत्रीको नाममा हिमाल र पहाड गाँसिन पुगे ।<br /> एक दिन नेपाल प्रहरीले आफ्नो जवान इन्द्रबहादुरको अन्तै सरुवा गरिदियो । उनी जागिरमा हिँडे, श्रीमती र छोरालाई घुन्सामै छाडेर । त्यसपछि घुन्सामा इन्द्रबहादुरको कुनै खबर आएन । अलि ठूलो भएपछि दोर्जेले आफ्ना पिताबारे खोजीनिती पनि गरे । तर, पत्ता लागेन । न त उनको घर पत्ता लाग्यो, न कहाँ छन् भन्ने । खाली उनको नाम मात्रै दोर्जेसँग बाँकी रहयो ।<br /> गाउँबाट हिमाल नजिक थियो । दोर्जेलाई हिमालले तान्यो । दोर्जेले ट्रेकिङ गाइडका रूपमा काम गर्न थाले । पछि पर्वतारोहीका साथ हिमाल आरोहणमा जान थाले, भरियाका रूपमा । भरियाका रूपमा केही हिमाल चढिसकेपछि अब पालो थियो सगरमाथाको । विदेशी आरोहण टोलीमा संलग्न भएर उनले नेपालको झन्डा बोकेर सगरमाथा आरोहण पनि गरे । त्यसपछि त गाइडका रूपमा पटक–पटक गरेर ८ पल्ट सर्वोच्च शिखरको चुचुरोमा पुगे । त्यसैबीच घुन्सामै उनको विवाह भयो, शेर्पिनी फुपू थाक्चे शेर्पा (फुमू) सँग । दोर्जेले ट्रेकिङ गाइडको काम थालेपछि फुमूले पनि ताप्लेजुङ बजारमा होटल खोलिन् । दुई छोरी र एक छोरा जन्मिए । यीमध्ये फुपू ल्हामु दोस्रो सन्तान थिइन् । फुपूकी आमाको नाम पनि फुपू नै हो । आमा छोरीको एउटै नाम कसरी भयो ? ‘शेर्पाहरूकोमा जन्मिएको बारअनुसार नाम राख्ने चलन छ । आमा र म दुवै बिहीबार जन्मिएको त्यही भएर ‘फु’ बाट आउने नाम राख्दा एउटै भएको,’ उनले बताइन् ।<br /> ताप्लेजुङमा सामान्य जीवन चलिरहेका बेला आमालाई जन्डिस लाग्यो । ‘त्यति बेला भाइ आमाको पेटमा थियो,’ फुपूले आफ्नो खेल जीवनतिरको पहिलो फड्केबारे बताइन्, ‘आमालाई जन्डिस लागेपछि उपचारका लागि हामी काठमाडौं आयौं र यतै बस्न थाल्यौं ।’ ताप्लेजुङ र घुन्साको सट्टा अब जीवनमा डल्लु र खुसिबुले लिए । आमाको खाजा होटल पनि यतै खुल्यो । खुसिबुको बालकेन्द्रबाट पढाइ सुरु भयो । डल्लुको प्रभात स्कुलबाट फुुपूले एसएलसी गरिन् । अहिले पिपल्स क्याम्पसमा बीबीएस तेस्रो वर्ष<br /> पढ्दै छिन् ।<br /> काठमाडौं बसाइका क्रममा डेरा सर्‍यो, सोह्रखुट्टे नयाँबजार । आमाको होटल यहाँ पनि थियो । संयोगले यो होटलको अगाडिपट्टि थियो, राष्ट्रिय जुडो प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र । खेलाडी र प्रशिक्षकहरू होटलमा खाजा खान आइरहन्थे । यस्तैमा एक दिन जुडोका चन्द्र गुरुले दोर्जेलाई भने— छोरीलाई खेल्न पठाइदिनू । भोलिपल्टै बाबुले छोरीलाई लिएर गए । जुडोमा भर्ना गराए र पहिलो आशीर्वाद दिए— ओलम्पिकसम्म पुग्नू । अहिले फुपूलाई लाग्छ, ‘मलाई बुबाको आशीर्वाद लाग्यो ।’ फुपूले रियो ओलम्पिक–२०१६ खेलिन् । यो ओलम्पिकमा सहभागी खेलाडीका लागि भनेर मोबाइल फोन निर्माता कम्पनी सामसुङले एउटा विशेष फोन बनाएको थियो— एस सेभेन एज । यसको पछिल्लो कभरमा ओलम्पिकको प्रसिद्ध रिङको लोगो प्रिन्ट गरिएको छ । फुपू अहिले त्यही फोन बोक्छिन् ।<br /> ओलम्पिक पुग्नुअघि गत वर्ष नै फुपूले भारतमा भएको दक्षिण एसियाली खेलकुद (साग) मा जुडोमा ऐतिहासिक स्वर्ण पनि जितिन् । भारतको सिलोङमा भएको फाइनल खेलमा भारतीय खेलाडी फुपूकी प्रतिद्वन्द्वी थिइन् । १२ औं सागमा नेपालको स्वर्ण संख्यालाई दुई पुर्‍याइन् । पहिलो स्वर्ण उसुकी निमा घर्तीमगरले जितेकी थिइन् भने तेस्रो स्वर्ण फुटबल टिमले दिलायो । जुडोमा एकै राउन्डको खेल हुन्छ, पाँच मिनेट । प्रशिक्षकले उनलाई रियोमा चार मिनेटसम्म टिक्न सके पुग्छ भनेका थिए । त्यो पनि पूरा गरिन् ।<br /> यी सबै सफलताका बीच पनि फुपूको मनमा एउटा अवसादले बास गरिरहेको हुन्छ । त्यो हो, यो सफलता बुबालाई देखाउन नपाउनु । ‘जसले गर्दा म यहाँसम्म पुगें, त्यही मान्छेलाई देखाउन नपाउँदा केही नपुगेजस्तो, अपूरोजस्तो लाग्दो रहेछ,’ आँखाको चेपमा रसाएको पानी पुछ्दै उनले भनिन् । ‘दंगल हेर्दा पनि यस्तै भयो, अन्तिममा छोरीले बाबुलाई स्वर्ण पदक दिँदाखेरी मेरो आँसु आयो । गोल्ड मेडल त मैले पनि ल्याएकी थिएँ तर दिनलाई बुबा नै थिएन,’ फुपू फेरि आँसु पुछ्न थालिन् पुरिनुभएको थियो,’ फुपूले सुनाइन् । एक पटक त कतिसम्म भएको थियो भने खुम्बु आइसफलनेर दोर्जे हिमपहिरोमा परे । माथिबाट आएको पहिराले उनी र अरूलाई पनि पुर्‍यो । संयोगले उनको हात हिउँको सतहमा थियो । हातमा थियो आरोहीहरूले लगाउने विशेष किसिमको घडी । पहिरोमा परेकालाई उद्धार गर्न आएको एक जना विदेशीले त्यो हातको घडी चिन्यो । ‘यो त दोर्जेको घडी हो भन्ने चिनेर उसले तानेछ,’ फुपूले भनिन्, ‘तर, बुबाले यस्ता दुर्घटनाहरूबारे हामीलाई केही भन्नुहुन्थेन । हामीले पीर मान्छन् भनेर ।’ आखिरीमा भयो त्यस्तै । कसैलाई नभनी–नभनी उनले सबैलाई ठूलो पीर पारे ।<br /> सन् २०१४ को अप्रिल १८ । त्यस दिन फुपू, उनकी दिदी र आमा घरमै थिए । बाबु दोर्जे सगरमाथाको उकालो चढ्दै थिए । बिहानै खबर आयो, सगरमाथामा हिमपहिरो आयो रे । उनीहरूले बुझ्दा दोर्जेहरूको टिम यसमा परेको छैन भन्ने खबर आयो ।<br /> यसको डेढ साताअघि फुपूलाई बुबाले अचानक फोन गरेका थिए । उनी चोमोलोङमाको नवौं आरोहणका लागि जान लागेका थिए । फुपू दक्षिण एसियाली जुडो च्याम्पियनसिपको ‘क्लोज क्याम्प’ मा थिइन् । तयारीमा व्यस्त थिइन् । ‘के हो तैंले त मलाई भेट्नै छोड्यो, मलाई भेट्ने टयाम छैन ?’ बुबाले यस्तो भनेपछि फुपूले एक दिन प्रशिक्षणबाट समय निकालेकी थिइन् । त्यो दिनभरि उनले बुबाले किनिदिएको सेकेन्ड हयान्ड स्कुटरमा राखेर बुबालाई अनेक ठाउँ घुमाएकी थिइन् । उनलाई जानुपर्ने ठाउँ, भेट्नुपर्ने मान्छे, आरोहणका लागि किन्नुपर्ने सामान सबै भए ठाउँमा लिएर गएपछि जमलबाट उनी क्याम्प फर्किएकी थिइन् । फुपू च्याम्पियनसिपमा खेल्दा बाबु दोर्जे आरोहणका लागि हिमालतिर गइसकेका
